Hanover claimed the lead in the opening minutes as Kleinhelter and Abdoo netted a pair of goals, 2-0.
The Panthers extended their lead to 3-0 in the second frame when the Golden Eagles found the back of the net with 8:10 remaining before halftime.
Abdoo ensued his career performance completing the first half hat trick to propel HC to the 4-1 halftime advantage.
The offense exploded in the second half as the Panthers rattled off five straight goals capped by Kleinhelter to extend their lead to 9-1.
Sophomore
Colin O'Brien (Somers, Conn.) and junior
Owen Parker (O'Fallon, Mo.) entered the scores column late into the period propelling Hanover to the commanding advantage.
The final frame saw the Blue and Red net five additional goals en route to the HCLC victory.
