HANOVER, Ind. – Hanover (7-19 overall, 2-4 HCAC) earned a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference split on Saturday afternoon winning game one 4-1 and surrendering game two 6-3.

Lauren Beaman (Indianapolis, Ind.) pitched a fantastic game for the Panthers as she held Earlham hitless for four complete innings. She finished the contest with three strikeouts.
PLAY-BY-PLAY
Hanover jumped on the score board in the top of the first inning as freshman
Olivia Planck (Lexington, Ky.) dealt the RBI double scoring Beaman, 1-0.
The Panthers plated a trio of insurance runs in the fifth inning as Planck added her second RBI before a junior
Carson Kruse (Fort Branch, Ind.) RBI double pushed HC to the 4-1 victory.

Rylin Huddleston (Seymour, Ind.) got the game two start pitching four complete innings before surrendering the ball.
PLAY-BY-PLAY
Much like game one, Hanover surged ahead in the bottom of the first inning as freshman
LauRie Harmless (Coatesville, Ind.) doubled to left center plating two runs, 2-0.
The Panthers added another run in the third inning as Kruse hit a no doubt home run to left center, 3-0.
But Earlham erupted in the top of the sixth inning scoring five runs on a pair of Hanover hiccups, 5-3.

Hanover returns to action on Sunday, April 14 when they travel to Franklin. Game time is set for 1:00 PM.
