HANOVER, Ind. – The Panthers celebrated Senior Day on Saturday afternoon as they welcomed Earlham and Transylvania to the Zeddies Tennis Center.
EARLHAM
Hanover claimed the contest with Earlham in a nail bitter, 5-4.
In doubles action, the team of sophomore
Alyssa Moore (Charlestown, Ind.) and junior
Lauren Hale (Crawfordsville, Ind.) won no. 3 doubles 8-7.
The Panthers made up ground in singles play as senior
Isabelle Roberts (Brownsburg, Ind.) won no. 3 singles 6-0, 6-0.
Hailey Vandeventer captured no. 4 singles 6-3, 6-4 while Hale won no. 5 singles 6-2, 7-5.
Moore claimed the game deciding match at no. 6 singles winning 6-1, 4-6, 6-4.
TRANSYLVANIA
The Blue and Red surrendered the HCAC contest to the Pioneers 6-1.
The lone victory came at no. 3 singles as Roberts won the contest 3-6, 6-4, 10-2.
Hanover returns to action Saturday, April 27 when they travel to Anderson.
