HANOVER, Ind. – The Panthers (6-18 overall, 1-3 HCAC) earned a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference split with MSJ on Saturday afternoon at Kops-Bedel Stadium. Hanover took game one 4-1 and surrendered game two 7-3.
GAME ONE

Lauren Beaman (Indianapolis, Ind.) got the win in the circle pitching a complete game allowing just one run on three hits.

The Panthers extended their lead in the fourth inning as junior
Mal Fultz (Greenfield, Ind.) collected the RBI with a single to left field. Freshman Hailey Kiefner (Indianapolis, Ind.) plated the innings final run extending the HC lead to 4-0.
MSJ got one run back in the fifth inning before Beaman shut down the Lions en route to the game one win.
GAME TWO

Freshman
Rylin Huddleston (Seymour, Ind.) got the start throwing five innings allowing six runs on three hits.
PLAY-BY-PLAY
Kruse scored the first run once again in the first inning as she singled up the middle, 1-0.
The second inning saw Hanover push the lead to 2-0. Kiefner added the run following an RBI to shortstop.
Hanover plated a run in the third inning following a MSJ hiccup, 3-0.
The Lions roared back in the sixth inning using a six run outburst for the 7-3 lead.
The Panthers got one final shot in the seventh inning as Planck hit a lead off single to shortstop before MSJ was able to retire the side.
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, April 10 when they travel to Franklin.
