TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Hanover (11-25 overall, 6-10 HCAC) claimed a split on Wednesday evening at Rose-Hulman. The Panthers =dropped game one on a controversial play 3-2 before taking game two 9-7.
GAME ONE

Lauren Beaman (Indianapolis, Ind.) got the call in the circle for the Panthers throwing a complete game with 0 strikeouts.

LauRie Harmless (Coatesville, Ind.) helped Hanover claim the early 1-0 difference in the top of the first inning as the freshman doubled to right field plating Beaman.
The Panthers added another run in the top of the fifth inning as junior
Carson Kruse (Fort Branch, Ind.) doubled to center field scoring Sydney Raisor, 2-0.
However, Rose-Hulman responded in the bottom of the fifth inning using a two-run homer to knot the score, 2-2.
They claimed the victory in extra innings on a questionable call propelling them to the 3-2 win.
GAME TWO
PLAY-BY-PLAY
Rose-Hulman surged ahead to the 5-0 lead over the course of the first three innings when the Blue and Red offense exploded.
The fifth inning saw a scoring frenzy as freshman
Olivia Planck (Lexington, Ky.) charted the first RBI, 5-1.

Mal Fultz singled up the middle driving in two runs, 6-5.
Hanover extended their lead later in the inning as a pair of Rose-Hulman errors helped propel HC to the 9-7 win.

Avery Southern (Mitchell, Ind.) claimed the win pitching two and two third inning allowing just one run on three hits. Junior
Megan Ekart (Scottsburg, Ind.) claimed the save pitching two and a third inning relief.
