The Panthers look to bounce back after surrendering week one to the Colonels of Centre, 27-12. Sophomore
Eian Roudebush (New Palestine, Ind.) piloted the offense with 270 yards through the air and one touchdown. Senior
Austin Oppel (Brandenburg, Ky.) added the lone Panther touchdown recording four receptions for 72 yards.

Clint Hearne (Madison, Ind.) led the special teams effort recording field goals from 36 yards and 25 yards. He was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Special Teams Athlete of the Week for his efforts.

ENTERING THE WEEKEND
Hanover and Butler square off for the first time since 2009 when the Bulldogs knocked off the Panthers 42-21. As a unit, Hanover tallied 163 yards of total offense averaging 3.02 yards per play. The Panthers tallied 132 total yards through the air and two passing touchdowns.

The Panther defense looked to hold the Bulldogs in check forcing one turnover and five punts. Hanover also added one sack for a four-yard loss.

Senior
Ben Massey (Indianapolis, Ind.) led the Panthers in week one with eight tackles including seven solo stops and 1.5 tackles for a loss. Junior
Garron Jenkins (Greenville, Ind.) recorded a team-best three tackles for loss while junior Aiden Jochem (Huntingburg, Ind.) added a sack.

Jalen Peck (Bloomington, Ind.) paced the offense, adding three receptions for 78 yards averaging 26 yards per catch.
Austin Oppel collected four receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown.
