MADISON, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers competed in a dual meet with Wittenberg on Friday evening at the Madison Aquatic Center. The women's swim team finished second with 46 points.
The 200-yard Medley Relay team of freshman
Anna Williams (Fortville, Ind.), senior
Aidah Shuttleworth (Beavercreek, Ohio), sophomore
Lucy Schoenlein (Indianapolis, Ind.), and freshman
Lawson Phillips (Maryville, Tenn.) claimed second with a time of 2:07.60.
Lawson Phillips claimed a runner-up mark in the 100-yard freestyle touching the wall in a time of 1:03.36.
Anna Williams took second in the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 33.13 seconds while finding success in the 50-yard freestyle taking third in the five swimmer field with a time of 29.78 seconds.
In the 100-yard IM,
Aidah Shuttleworth captured second place finishing with a time of 1:12.30 while teammate
Lawson Phillips claimed third place.
Hanover returns to the pool on Saturday, Jan. 25 when they compete at Transylvania.
