HC Throttles Bluffton

Bluffton, OH - The Panthers played their fourth conference game of the 2025 campaign at Bluffton University today taking on the 4-6-2 overall Beavers (2-1-1 HCAC). HC entered the contest at 8-2-2 and 3-0-0 in conference play.

From the first whistle to the last, Hanover dismantled their opponent with an offensive onslaught that would last from the third minute, to the eighty-second minute.. The Panthers put up 29 total shots, and had four times as many on cage as their opponent with 16.

HC won the game 9-1, starting with a goal from senior forward Patricio Campos assisted by sophomore midfielder Cole Hubert. Campos kept himself and his teammates rolling with an unassisted goal just forty seconds later, putting the Panthers up 2-0.

In the sixth minute, the Beavers netted a goal of their own, providing a glimmer of hope now down 1-2 with nearly the whole game left.

Hanover responded with two more goals before the halftime break. Senior forward Patricio Campos would have a hand in all three as he put an assist from sophomore forward Andrew Pavlisko past the keeper to go up 3-1, then assisted junior defender Andrew Beck to make it 4-1 just over sixty seconds later, and the Panthers took this three goal lead into the half-time break.

Coming out of half-time, in the forty-seventh minute, Campos tallied his third goal of the day off another assist from fellow forward Andrew Pavlisko. Freshman midfielder Gavin Yearwood got in on the scoring action as he dished out an assist to senior defender Brandon Seabaugh for his first goal of the 2025 season.

The Panthers, now up 6-1, continued to make a statement and kept their energy focused as time still remained. Senior forward David Snowden was able to navigate the Beavers defense set and beat the keeper unassisted. Following Snowden's goal, sophomore midfielder Nico Gotoh added to the score, off a feed from junior forward John Azzara. Azzara added to his individual point total with another assist, this time to sophomore midfielder Evan Tribble, for the final goal of the game.

Hanover moves to 9-2-2 and 4-0-0 in the HCAC with this dominant win over Bluffton. The next match-up for the Panthers is in Berea, KY at Berea College to take on the 1-7-3 (0-2-1) Mountaineers. Kick-off is set for 7:00PM EST.
