Box Score BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Hanover Panthers (12-8 overall, 1-1 HCAC) put on a dominant performance on Saturday afternoon, defeating Bluffton in straight sets 3-0 (25-11, 25-18, 26-24).

HOW IT HAPPENED
Hanover dominated the Beavers, winning in straight sets. The opening set saw the Panthers win 25-17 as they were quick on the attack. The Blue and Red had 11 kills on 31 attempts for a .226 hitting percentage, paced by the senior duo of
Elliot Mays and
Kelsey Waggoner.
The success carried into set two as Hanover surged ahead, blanking Bluffton to a commanding 7-0 lead. The Panther offense improved as the match went on, landing an impressive 15 kills. Claiming the set two win 25-18.
The final set saw the Beavers gain slight momentum before a Panther run pushed them on top 13-11. The two teams battled for the remainder of the set as Bluffton fought for a set win, but Hanover refused to surrender the conference contest. They claimed the straight set win 26-24, combining for a game-high 18 kills on 50 attempts.
Hanover returns to action on Sunday, Oct. 12 when they travel to Ohio Wesleyan. First serve is slated for 12:00 PM.
