Hanover, IN - The Hanover College women's soccer team hosted the Manchester University Spartans in their final home game of the 2025 campaign. Today was HC's senior day, and the Panthers recognized nine total seniors.
The nine seniors that were recognized today were goalkeeper
Emma Patterson, midfielder
Emily Duffey, midfielder
Juliet Canaan, midfielder
Morgan Castiglione, defender
Anna Beth Hawkins, midfielder
Grace Caroline Linam, midfielder
Olivia Patel, forward
Lauren Rainbolt, and defender
Erin Terry; each of these young women were recognized for the outstainding accomplishments on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.
On the field, the Panthers dominated from start to finish. HC played with poise and confidence, and left everything on the field for their seniors. Hanover went on to stamp their final home game of the regular season with an 8-0 victory over the Spartans.
Hanover saw seven goal scorers on their eight goals, with only one being assisted. Senior midfielder
Olivia Patel was the first to open the scoring for the Panthers, netting the frist goal of the contest in the twenty-ninth minute. Patel's goal went on to be the only goal of the first half as the Panthers entered the break leading one-nil.
In the second half, senior defender
Erin Terry wasted no time at all getting her team going again with the second goal of the afternoon in the forty-seventh minute of action. Sophomore forward Emma Gil, sophomore forward Lily Clark, and junior midfielder
Kaleigh Schirmer were the next three (unassisted) goal scorers, all within six minutes of eachother.

Maddi Mosby netted the final three goals of the day, with Mosby netting the final two.

The Panthers move to 6-6-2 (4-2-0 HCAC) with their 8-0 win over Manchester. Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, October 22nd, at Transylvania University. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00PM.
