Hanover, IN - The Panthers hosted the Spalding University Golden Eagles tonight in a cross-river clash.
From the minute the game got under way, HC looked to be in full control of contest. Hanover outpaced the Golden Eagles in points off turnovers nine to four and tallied eight points on the fast break while allowing zero in transition.
Hanover also shot and made twice as many threes as their opponent, shooting 12 for 30 while Spalding was only 5 of 12. The Panthers bench largely contributed to tonight's win, providing 30 total points. Junior forward Cj Walls lead the Panthers in total points and total rebounds (from the bench) with 14 and 8 on the night.

Hanover coasted to a 76 to 53 win after a 40 to 26 first-half. The Panthers now move to 1-1 on the season ahead of their next match-up at Bellarmine University.
