<strong>HANOVER, Ind. </strong>– The Hanover Panthers advance to the second round of the NCAA Playoffs after etching their name into the record books with the programs first NCAA Post Season win within the confines of Alumni Stadium, and first in 25 years, over Grove City 23-15.<br />

Junior quarterback
Eian Roudebush piloted the performance, completing 19-of-35 passes for 178 yards while rushing for 75-yards and two touchdowns.<br />

Defensively, freshman Kane Powel-Smith dominated in the red zone, claiming the games only turn over with a forced fumble at their own two yard line, that set up a sophomore
Brian Wall 35-yard return.<br />

Curbrian Shelby hauled in eight receptions for 87-yards, while his teammate
DJ Grinter collected 37-yards on just two catches.<br />

As a unit, Hanover recorded 360-yards of total offense, 182 yards through the air with two touchdown passes.<br />

<strong>HOW IT HAPPENED</strong><br />
Hanover struck first in the opening minutes of the second quarter after capping a nine-play 63-yard drive with a five yard rushing touchdown from
Eian Roudebush, 7-0.<br />

Senior
Clint Hearne extended the Hanover advantage with a 29-yard field goal. The senior split the up rights after the Panther offense drove 49-yards on 12 plays, 10-7.<br />
<br />
The third period saw Roudebush make his second endzone visit, rushing for one yard. However, the one yard was nearly impossible to come by as the Grove City defense halted them on three straight plays.<br />

The final Panther score came in the fourth frame with a crucial third and 13 pick-up. Roudebush remained poise under center, finding his top target,
Curbrian Shelby for a 21-yard reception that placed Hanover within the Grove City 30-yard line. Sophomore
Jack Pennington handled the rest, as the ariel attack remained electric for Hanover. Pennington capped an 11-play 71-yard drive, 23-15.<br />

UP NEXT</strong><br />
Hanover will hit the road for North Central on Saturday, Nov. 29 for round two of Playoff action. The Panthers and North Central last met in the post-season in 2018.<br />
