IRVING, Texas – The Panthers (2-0 overall) opened the 2025 season in Texas, taking on the University of Dallas in a doubleheader. Hanover won game one 8-4, before taking game two, 9-6.
GAME ONE

Freshman
Lulu Van Beek (Noblesville, Ind.) claimed the win in the circle, throwing four and two third innings with seven strikeouts and just two earned runs.
Senior
Megan Ekart (Scottsburg, Ind.) captured a save, finishing the contest with a strikeout and allowing just one hit.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Sophomore
Madi Kammer (Indianapolis, Ind.) led the Blue and Red with a game-high three RBI on two hits.
Freshman
Sydney Foy (Brownsburg, Ind.) and senior
Sydnie Raisor (Campbellsburg, Ky.) added two RBI apiece. Foy posted a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish with one run.
Freshman
Ashley Fulton (Hanover, Ind.) tallied four runs on three hits and an RBI.
GAME TWO

Fulton got the start, throwing five complete innings with two strikeouts.
Ekart claimed the win in the circle, closing out the contest with two innings pitched and a strikeout on seven batters faced.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Fulton put the Panthers in front in the top of the first inning with a single to shortstop. The freshman provided a clutch hit in the top of the seventh inning, singling to left field charting two RBI to push HC back in front 8-6. She tallied two hits and three RBI.
Senior
Mal Fultz (Greenfield, Ind.) scored the team's final run in the top of the seventh inning. The senior had two RBI with one run and a hit.
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, Feb. 26 when they travel to Concordia University of Texas. Game time is set for 5:00 PM.
