Hanover Falls Short in Non-Conference Action with Central

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Hanover (3-7 overall) returned to action on Wednesday afternoon taking on non-conference opponent Central College. The Panthers surrendered game one 7-1, and wrapped up the night cap falling 11-2.
 
GAME ONE
A LOOK AT THE BOX SCORE

Sophomore LauRie Harmless (Coatesville, Ind.) charted the lone RBI for the Panthers in the bottom of the first inning as she singled to right field scoring senior Sydnie Raisor (Campbellsburg, Ky.), 1-0.
 
Central used a three run third inning to flip the script back in their favor. They added one run in the fourth inning another in the fifth inning and two in the seventh inning for the 7-1 win.
 
IN THE CIRCLE
Senior Lauren Beaman (Indianapolis, Ind.) got the start throwing six complete innings with a strikeout. She allowed just three runs, two of which were earned.
 
GAME TWO
IN THE CIRCLE

Freshman Lulu Van Beek (Noblesville, Ind.) got the start throwing five complete innings with two strikeouts. Freshman Ashley Fulton (Hanover, Ind.) pitched relief for the Blue and Red.
 
AT THE PLATE
Fulton and sophomore Madi Kammer (Indianapolis, Ind.) finished the contest with one RBI apiece. Fulton reached in the bottom of the first inning on a fielders choice while Kammer grounded out to first scoring sophomore Olivia Planck (Lexington, Ky.).
 
Central scored five in the fourth inning and three in the sixth inning to secure the win.
