Box Score 2 WILMINGTON, Ohio – Hanover (3-9 overall) hit the road for non-conference action at Wilmington College, dropping an offensive battle game one 13-5, before falling in an extra inning thriller 6-5.
GAME ONE
AT THE DISH
Wilmington surged in front plating three runs in the first inning, 3-0.
Hanover responded in the second inning scoring five runs on five hits. Pacing the offense was freshman
Sydney Foy (Brownsburg, Ind.) who doubled to center scoring two runs. Sophomore
Olivia Planck (Lexington, Ky.) also picked up an RBI with a single to the outfield, 4-3. The final run of the inning came from freshman
Ashley Fulton's bat (Hanover, Ind.).
However, the high-powered Quaker offense responded with four runs in the second, four in the third inning, and two in the sixth inning for the 13-5 decision.
Planck led Hanover going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Lauren Beaman (Indianapolis, Ind.) got the start for Hanover throwing four complete innings with two strikeouts.
GAME TWO
AT THE PLATE
The Panthers drew first blood in game two, scoring a run in the top of the second inning. Senior
Sydnie Raisor (Campbellsburg, Ky.) charted the RBI with a single through the left side scoring freshman
Lulu Van Beek (Noblesville, Ind.), 1-0.
Wilmington took the lead with a two run third inning.
Planck delivered for Hanover in the top of the fifth inning as the sophomore connected for a lead-off triple setting the stage for sophomore
LauRie Harmless (Coatesville, Ind.). Harmless collected the RBI with a sacrifice fly, 2-2.
Hanover reclaimed the lead in the top of the sixth inning, scoring one run on two hits. Harmless once again deemed clutch for the Blue and Red as she singled through the right side, 3-2.
The Panthers added another run in the seventh inning off the bat of Fulton who helped push HC on top 5-4.
However, Wilmington responded tying the contest in the bottom of the seventh inning before winning it in extra innings, 6-5.
