Hanover, IN (Alumni Stadium) - The lady Panthers hosted the Scots from Alma College (Michigan) today in a sunny afternoon non-conference match-up.
Hanover kept things interesting through the first half with goals from senior midfielder
Abby Mensing, freshman midfielder
Alysha Baker, and senior midfielder
Anissa Weber.
The game would ultimately be decided by an 8 goal run put together by the Scots between the end of the second quarter and the early parts of the third as the lady Panthers just didn't have the depth to keep up.
Senior midfielder
Anissa Weber was the lone second half goal scorer for HC, marking her first career hat-trick! Weber also lead the team in ground balls (6) and caused-turnovers (2).
The lady Panthers return to action after a long two-week rest period, on Saturday April 5th, for a home match-up with HCLC opponent Spalding University. First face-off is set for 4:00PM EST in Alumni Stadium.
