LEXINGTON, Ky. - Hanover (12-17, HCAC 8-6) traveled to Lexington, KY to take in the Transylvania Pioneers (15-13, HCAC 8-5) for the first game of their 3 games series and were unable to walk away with the win losing 15-3.

AT THE PLATE
The Panthers started hot with a two run homerun by fifth year Eric Roudebush (New Palestine, IN) in the bottom of the first inning. 

Junior Joshua Simpson (Bardstown, Ky) then hit another homerun in the fourth inning before Transylvania was able to secure the win.

ON THE MOUND
Freshman Dylan Lloyd (Colerain, OH) got the start for the Panthers, throwing two innings, striking out two. Freshman Wyatt Colvin (Prospect, KY) pitched relief for six innings,  walking only one and striking out three. Senior Braxton Garner (Bowling Green, KY) pitched the ninth inning for the Blue and Red.

The Panthers hope to go back to back wins against Transy when they play them for the series on April 19 in Lexington, KY. Game time is set for 2:00 PM EST.
