HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers will compete in their sixth Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference Tournament on Wednesday, April 23. Hanover will play host to the no. 3 seed Earlham Quakers at Alumni Stadium. Prior to the HCLC, the Panthers competed as part of the ORLC.
LAST POST SEASON MEETING:
The last time these two programs met in the postseason was 2019 within the confines of Alumni Stadium, when the Panthers defeated Earlham 22-6.
Hanover finished the contest with a game-high 50 shots and collected 56 ground balls. The Quakers claimed the battle of the clear, securing 19 successful attempts.
2025 HCLC STATS:
Hanover enters the tournament ranked second in the league in points per game (15.56), goals per game (10.13), assists per game (5.44), and shots on goal per game (22.88).
Senior
Lance Guttormson (West Bend, Wis.) ranks first in frame with an HCLC leading save percentage of 62.6.
AMONG THE TEAM:
Junior Collin O'Brien (Somers, Conn.) leads the Panther attack this season with a team-high 47 goals and 10 assists.
Senior
Owen Parker (O'Fallon, Mo.) ranks first among the team in total points with 59, dishing out 27 assists with 32 goals. He has also recorded a team-high 109 shots.
Lance Guttormson has posted a team-best 113 saves and an 8-2 record.
HCLC TOURNAMENT:
The no. 1 seed Transylvania Pioneers will play host to the no. 4 seed Anderson Ravens on Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
