BEREA, Ky. – The Panthers claimed third overall as part of the HCAC Outdoor Championships hosted by Berea College on Friday and Saturday.
ON THE TRACK
Junior
Callie Swegman won the top spot in the 10,000-meter, winning the race with a time of 40:04.80. She finished second in the 5,000-meter run, crossing the finish line in a time of 18:33.13.

Natalie Day took the top spot in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:07.75. Day also found success in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing fourth in a time of 17.21 seconds.
Paige Wildman claimed fifth in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 5:06.96 while her teammate
Emma Litzelman finished sixth with a time of 5:07.68. Wildman also claimed fifth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:26.62.

Elyse Wilson landed fifth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, crossing the finish line with a time of 12:45.36.
The 4x100-meter relay team took fifth overall with a time of 52.72 seconds.
The 4x400-meter relay team rounded out the meet with a third place mark in a time of 4:23.09.
IN THE FIELD
Senior
Jessie Stenger posted a strong performance in the shot put, finishing second with a toss of 13.64 meters. Her toss was nearly two feet better than the rest of the field. She also succeeded in the discus throw, placing second overall with a distance of 41.68 meters. She rounded out the weekend with a third place mark in the javelin throw and a sixth place mark in the hammer toss.
Freshman Cheyeanna Leslie finished third in the shot put with a personal best distance of 11.72 meters.
Kennadi Lakins claimed fourth in the long jump with a leap of 4.75 meters. She also finished sixth in the high jump with a height of 1.43 meters.
Sophia Goins-Small took fifth in the pole vault with a personal best height of 2.32 meters.
