TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Hanover Panther women's track and field team opened the indoor season on Saturday with a trip to Rose-Hulman for the Fightin' Engineers Invitational.
Hanover finished third overall with nine points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Sophomore
Cheyeann Leslie dominated the shot put, winning the event with a toss of 11.16 meters. The distance ranks seventh in school history.
Leslie also garnered third in the weight throw with a throw of 11.92 meters.
In the pole vault, freshman Sophia Goins-Small claimed fourth overall with a height of 2.05 meters.
Sophomore
Lilyanna Smith landed fourth I the long jump, with a distance of 4.49 meters.
