Lexington, Ky - Yesterday, the Hanover College Panthers men's lacrosse team traveled to Lexington, KY to compete in the HCLC Championship. The hosts of the tournament, the Transylvania University Pioneers, were 4-0 in regular season conference play, and the Panthers were 3-1 having fallen only to Transy.
The Pios controlled every aspect of the match-up against the Panthers, winning in dominant fashion 26-5. Hanover struggled to compete with the depth of the Pioneers roster and allowed seventy-three total shots through four quarters. Transy also won 24/34 face-offs, and won the groundball battler 38-18.
Hanover's season concludes at 11-4 overall (4-2 in HCLC) with a 6-1 record on the road, and six consecutive road wins (most in program history). The Panthers also finished with seven total All-HCLC nominations including four first-team (senior midfielder
