LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Hanover (8-13, 4-3 HCAC) traveled to Spalding to take on the Golden Eagles. They surrendered the non-conference contest 15-6.
AT THE PLATE
The Panthers started red hot scoring four runs throughout three innings. Leading the run parade was senior Jacob Danneman (Edgewood, KY), with an RBI single in the first inning and a RBI single in the third inning.
Hanover added another run in the fourth inning coming from the bat of Freshman
Evan Baute (Pittsboro, IN) who hit an RBI line drive to center field. They attempted to stage a comeback in the eighth inning with an RBI single by Senior
Sam Perkins (Louisville, KY) but came up short.
ON THE BUMP
Junior
Will Rodriguez (Deland, Fla.) got the start for the Panthers, throwing three and two third innings striking out three. Freshman Aidan Cope (Zionsville, IN), Sophomore
Ashton Carie (Madison, IN), and Senior
Jaden Siemer (Edgewood, Ky.) all saw a full inning of relief.
Hanover is scheduled to travel to Rose-Hulman on Sunday, April 6. Game time is set for 2:00 PM.
