HANOVER, Ind. –The Hanover athletic department announced the recipient of the Bill Griffin Mental Attitude Award, an award given annually to the student-athlete who has demonstrated mental toughness and continues to set a standard of excellence.
The award is named after a former Hanover College physical plant worker, assistant football coach, and assistant softball coach who coached for nearly 30 years until he passed of cancer.
The 2025 Bill Griffin Mental Attitude Award winner is senior
Reid Douglas (Rossville, Ind.), a member of the Hanover College baseball team.
Reid is a four year member of the Panther baseball program, as well as an active member of the Hanover College community. He demonstrates what it truly means to be a Panther.
