DANVILLE, Ky. – Hanover hit the road for their season-opener, competing at Centre. The Panther fell to Washington & Lee in straight sets 3-0 (13-25, 15-25, 11-25).
Hanover was led in the season-opener by senior
Kelsey Waggoner (Indianapolis, Ind.) with a team-high six kills. She made 29 attempts with seven digs.
Sophomore
Madison Schicker (Fishers, Ind.) added a game-high 11 digs.
Washington & Lee held the edge in most categories posting a .320 hitting percentage and a game-high 38 kills.
