TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Hanover (10-5 overall, 6-2 HCAC) dropped a competitive Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Wednesday evening at Rose-Hulman 81-61.

Malachi McNair paced the Panthers charting a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers found success early in the opening half with McNair and Alexander leading the attack. The duo helped push the Blue and Red in front 11-5. Despite the success, Rose-Hulman was able to combat the shooting struggles and flip the script. They claimed the difference 18-14 with just under 10 to play.

CJ Walls adding back-to-back scores the knotted the game 18-18. The battle continued late into the half with Rose-Hulman securing the 33-31 lead.
The second frame was all Rose-Hulman, outscoring the Panthers 48-30. The Fightin' Engineers shot a strong 68 percent from the floor in the half, including eight made three-pointers. They claimed the victory, 81-61, and a tie for the league top with HC.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 17 when they travel to MSJ. Game time is set for 2:00 PM.
