HANOVER, Ind. – The Panthers (11-6 overall, 7-3 HCAC) stormed Berea in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action, winning the contest 82-61.

Hanover used a balanced attack, landing six different players in double digits. Junior
Cam Freeman led the way with an all-around performance, scoring 10 points, dishing out 10 assists, recording five rebounds, and four steals.
Sophomore
Malachi McNair had a game-high 19 points. His teammate, sophomore
Jeremiah Alexander tallied 16 points.
Junior
William Herald netted 11 points, while junior
CJ Walls and sophomore
Sheldon Gatlin both added 10 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Hanover used a very balanced offensive attack to capture an 18-11 difference. Leading the early surge was the duo of Alexander and Walls from three-point.
Cam Freeman made his way into the scorer's column with a three-pointer before senior
Davis Olson connected for the team's fifth deep ball at the 7:18 mark, 29-18.
Alexander sparked an important 10-0 run that saw the Blue and Red claim a commanding 41-21 advantage with 4:06 remaining. Hanover finished the half shooting 57 percent from the floor, getting 12 points from McNair, for the 47-28 halftime lead. Freeman was fantastic facilitating the offense, dishing out six assists.
The Hanover lead reached 59-36 in the second half following a Panther 7-0 outburst. Herald dominated in the second half, scoring all his 11 points. Olson tallied his second three-pointer with just over three minutes remaining before the Panthers cleared the bench en route to the 82-61 victory.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 24 when they travel to Bluffton. Game time is set for 4:00 PM.
