Box Score HANOVER, Ind. – Ten different Panthers recorded points as Hanover (12-8 overall, 8-5 HCAC) defeated Earlham in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon, 76-53.

Malachi McNair led the way for the Blue and Red netting 17 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. Junior
Cam Freeman added 10 points with seven helpers.

Jack Miller finished with 13 points while junior
CJ Walls added 10 points and eight boards.
HOW IT HAPPENED
After a short six minutes, the Panthers found themselves with a commanding 13-0 lead dominating the Quakers offensively. The run was paced by a balanced attack including strong post play by McNair. The Hanover defense held Earlham scoreless until the 13 minute mark.
Nine different Panthers recorded points prior to the intermission, as Hanover extended their lead to 42-23. McNair led all scorers with nine first half points and nine rebounds. The Panthers connected on 6-of-10 from three-point range with Freeman a perfect 2-for-2.
Hanover continued to dominate in the second half as a 7-0 run capped by a
Jack Miller transition layup propelled the Panthers to a 49-25 difference. Earlham responded with a 9-0 outburst cutting the score to 52-38 but the Hanover offense remained stout. McNair secured the double-double in the second half finishing with 17 points and 14 rebounds for the 76-53 victory.
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, Feb. 4 when they welcome Rose-Hulman to Collier Arena. Game time is slated for 7:30 PM.
