BATAVIA, Ohio – The Hanover Panthers competed as part of The Mount Mixed hosted at the Elks Run Golf Club. The Hanover men's and women's teams combined for the Invitational Win.
As a pair, the team combined for a stroke total of 1,306 (685-621). The next best pair was Earlham at 1,327 strokes.
Leading Hanover on the women's side was sophomore
Cassidy Clark with an impressive 155 (78-77) stroke through two rounds. Her opening round included two birdies in the front nine for a 78 before firing a 77 on day two. Clark's round two included a birdie on hole nine before securing a birdie on hole 16.
Freshman
Aubrey Arnold secured 11th place overall with a two round stroke count of 171 (88-83). The freshman fired a 41 in round two on the front nine to propel her to her best round of the weekend.
Freshman
Sofie Morris carded a 36-hole score of 175 (86-89) to finish 13th overall.
Her teammate, sophomore
Bri Stow fired a 184 (91-93) with her best round coming on day one of The Mount Mixed.
On the men's side, junior
Brock Bredehoft paced the Panthers, claiming second place with a two round score of 151 (73-78). His round one 73 was the lowest among competitors in the field and saw him finish two under par on the front nine.
Hanover also had a strong showing from sophomore
Andrew Roach and senior
Jacob Knapp finishing in a tied for third place. Knapp carded a 152 (75-77) while Roach also fired a 152, shooting a 76 in both rounds.
Junior
Jackson Beam finished 22 nd overall with a two round total of 170 (85-85).
