LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Hanover men's golf team hit the links over the weekend competing as part of the Transylvania "Wildbat Invite" hosted at the University Club of Kentucky.
 
Senior Jacob Knapp led the Panthers finishing tied for 43^rd with a three round score of 231 (78-73-80). His low second round score of 73 consisted of a pair of birdies on both the front nine as well as the back nine holes.
 
Sophomore Andrew Roach and teammate, junior Brock Bredehoft finished tied for 52^nd. The pair finished the 54-hole Invite shooting a 235.
 
Senior Jackson Taylor secured 58^th overall, combining for a three round score of 240. His final round saw him shoot a 75, which included three birdies in the front nine.
 
Hanover returns to the links on Saturday, Sept. 12 and Sunday, Sept. 13 when they compete at the MSJ Stateline Shootout hosted at Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Club.
