FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Hanover (1-2 overall) got a slow start offensively on Monday afternoon but came away with a convincing 10-3 win over Methodist.

Sophomore
Ben Brittingham had a fantastic afternoon at the plate recording two RBI on four hits with two runs scored.
Freshman
Fox Spears also had two RBI on two hits with five plate appearances and a run scored.
Senior
Trevor Jones tallied one run on one hit with two RBI.
Sophomore
Dylan Lloyd got the start for the Panthers pitching four complete innings with five strikeouts. He sprinkled two runs on six hits.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Methodist plated the games first run in the second inning before the Panther offense erupted. Hanover plated three runs on four hits led by freshman
Landon Armstrong who tripled to center filed scoring the game's tying run.
Armstrong scored later in the inning on a wild pitch to push HC in front 2-1. The final run of the fourth inning came from the bat of freshman
Ethan King who singled to the left side scoring
Ben Brittingham, 3-1.
The seventh inning saw Hanover blow the game wide open, scoring seven runs on six hits. Brittingham got the RBI party started before Jones joined in with a single to the right side pushing the advantage to 9-2. The final run came at the bat of sophomore
Trey Pipenger, 10-2.
