BELTON, Texas – The Panthers (0-2 overall) opened the 2026 season with a trip to Texas taking on Mary Hardin-Baylor. Hanover dropped game-one 12-4 before surrendering the double-header 9-0.
 
GAME ONE
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Freshman Karsyn Naue led the Panther offense collecting two hits on three at-bats with an RBI.
 
Junior Madi Kammer also added an RBI with a hit on two plate appearances.
 
In the circle, sophomore Lulu Van Beek pitched four complete innings with four strikes outs on 26 batters faced forcing four ground outs.

Freshman Claire King tallied one hit on two plate appearances.
 
Sophomore Ashley Fulton was the only other Panther to reach base as she was hit by a pitch.
 
Fulton got the start in the circle for the Blue and Red before being relieved by freshman Chloey Leach.
