KERRVILLE, Texas – The Panthers (1-3 overall) earned a split on Tuesday afternoon as they took on the Mountaineers of Schreiner. Hanover won game one in commanding fashion 7-4 before surrendering a hard fought game two, 3-2.
GAME ONE

Junior
Madi Kammer got the scoring started for the Blue and Red as a hit by pitch in the top of the first inning scored a run. Freshman
Morgan Bailey tripled to right field later in the inning pushing the difference to 4-0.
Schreiner would get two back in the bottom half of the inning before the Panther offense erupted. Leading the surge was sophomore
Ashley Fulton with a single to right field that plated two, 6-2.
The Panthers final run came in the top of the fourth inning off the bat of freshman
Savannah Riley.

Lulu Van Beek pitched a complete game allowing just four runs on six hits with five strikeouts.
GAME TWO
AT THE DISH
Bailey picked up a key RBI in the second inning as she was able to help push the Panthers to a 1-0 lead.
Fulton pitched fantastically for the Blue and Red holding Schreiner to just one hit till the fifth inning where they were able to knot the game 1-1.
They added a pair of insurance runs in the sixth inning en route to the 3-2 win.

Fulton pitched a complete game allowing just four runs while scattering six hits. She surrendered zero walks on 25 batters faced.
