HANOVER, Ind. – Hanover (2-4 overall) dropped a non-conference contest with Illinois Institute of Technology on Saturday afternoon, falling 9-3.

Hanover was led by sophomore Iyana Phelps with one goal on four shots with an assist.
 
Freshman Brannon Chubb added two points with a goal and an assist.
 
Hanover finished the contest with 24 shots, 18 on frame.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
Chubb netted the team's first goal with 5:32 to play in the first quarter, knotting the contest 1-1.
 
Phelps collected the second goal for the Blue and Red as she found the back of the net off a sophomore Alysha Baker assist late in the second quarter.
 
The final Hanover goal came from the stick of sophomore Jasmine Stephens, her first career goal, as time expired.
