HANOVER, Ind. – The Panthers (2-3 overall) defeated the Vikings of Lawrence University on a rainy Saturday afternoon in Alumni Stadium, 9-5.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Hanover finished with 19 shots, 16 of which landed on frame. Sophomore
Julia Jarrells led the scoring, tallying four goals on six shots.

Iyana Phelps added a hat trick, scoring three goals on four shots.
Junior
Kaitlyn Madden added a team-high four ground balls.

Emma Williams claimed the win in goal, playing all 60 minutes with four saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Hanover surged ahead 2-0 as Phelps belted back-to-back goals over a four minute span.
The scoring frenzy ensued as sophomore
Alysha Baker picked up her third strike of the season to push the difference 3-1.
Jarrells added her first of the afternoon at the 11:49 mark in the second frame when freshman
Brannon Chubb secured a man-up goal to help propel HC into the intermission leading 6-2.
Jarrells and Phelps paced the second half attack as the duo combined for three goals en route to the 9-5 victory.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, March 14 when they host Illinois Inst. of Tech. at 2 PM.
