LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Panthers (2-7 overall, 0-1) hit the road for their conference opener at Transylvania, falling 19-4.

Julia Jarrells led the Panthers with three goals on five shots. She landed three on frame and picked up two ground balls.

Quinn Cherry added two assists and collected four ground balls.

Kaitlyn Madden had a team-high five ground balls.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Jarrells recorded the team's first goal before sophomore
Iyana Phelps found that back of the net at the 10:34 mark in the first to pull HC within 3-2.
After a scoring outburst by the Pioneers, Jarrells halted the surge with back-to-back blows to close out the tough conference match-up.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, April 18 when they travel to Spalding.
