WESTERVILLE, Ohio - Hanover (17-18) traveled to Westerville, OH to take on Otterbein University (9-25) for a non conference battle. They were able to put another W on the recording with a final score of 10-9.

At The Plate
Senior Josh Simpson (Bardstown, KY) got the scoring started with a three run home run in the first inning. In the fourth inning and the seventh inning, freshman Kadin Bush (New Albany, IN) and Junior Ben Morwick (New Palestine, IN) teamed up to add two more runs.

Sophomore Trey Pipenger (Richmond, IN) and Senior Trevor Jones (Indianapolis, IN) added five more runs to the board in the eighth and ninth inning to give Hanover a 10-6 lead.

On The Bump 
Sophomore Dylan Lloyd (Colerain, OH) took the mound for his sixth start of the year and lasted six innings with six strikeouts and four earned runs. Senior Quinten Shewmaker (Floyds Knobs, IN) and Junior Ashton Carie (Madison, IN) teamed up for the seventh and eighth allowing no earned runs. Freshman Michael Kirk (Loveland, IN) got the save.

The Panthers will look to defend their home field on April 28 against Spalding University. Game time is set for 4:00 PM EST.
