Louisville, KY - Hanover (8-16 overall) traveled to Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday evening to take on Spalding University in a midweek doubleheader. Unfortunately, the Panthers surrendered both games with the final score of the first game being 7-6 and the second game 7-4.
GAME ONE
IN THE BOX
Hanover combined for five runs after the first three innings. Freshman
Morgan Bailey (Pickerington, OH) lead the run parade with an RBI double in the first and a two RBI double in the second. This gave them a lead of 5-2 with six innings of play left.
However, they were only able to put together one more run in the sixth inning on an error that scored Freshman
Karsyn Naue (Greenwood, IN).
ON THE MOUND
Sophomore
Lulu Van Beek (Noblesville, IN) had a complete game striking out three.

Hanover plated all four runs in the third inning, this was started on a
Morgan Bailey RBI triple and ended on an RBI single by Sophomore
Sydney Foy (Brownsburg, IN).
ON THE MOUND
Sophomore
Ashley Fulton (Hanover, IN) had a complete game striking out two and only giving up one walk.
Hanover returns to action when they travel to Manchester University for a doubleheader on Saturday, April 11. Game times are set for 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM EST.
