HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover College men's lacrosse program has announced the hiring of Cameron Walters as assistant coach for the upcoming year.
 
"Cameron brings the energy and competitiveness our program is built on," added head coach Angelo Butturi. "He's a talented defensive mind who lives and breathes the details that make Hanover lacrosse work, and our players are going to feed off that passion every day."
 
Walters joins the Panthers after serving as a coach for Triad Elite Sweetlax, where he has coached since August of 2025. During his stint, he helped mentor a team of 15 athletes, focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and knowledge of the game.
 
Prior to his time with Triad Elite Sweetlax, he served as the head coach for NC Fusion for a season. He developed strategies to increase engagement and organizational growth, while providing team collaboration and student-led meetings.
 
He graduated from Guilford College in December of 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Data Analytics.
