LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Hanover Panthers (1-2-2 overall) battle division I foe Bellarmine on the pitch on Tuesday evening, securing a 1-1 draw.

The Panthers combined for nine total shots, four of which landed on frame. Leading the offensive attack was freshman
Joe Luther with a game-high four shots, two of which landed on frame.
However, the defense was key for Hanover as junior
Patrick Schoellig dominated in frame claiming three saves through 90 minutes of work. His efforts, as well as the Hanover backline were able to hold Bellarmine scoreless until the 35th minute allowing just one goal on 17 shots.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Hanover wasted no time scoring in the opening frame as they were able to find the back of the net just 55 seconds into the contest, 1-0.
Bellarmine quickly went on the attack pelting the net with shots including a pair of shots in the 19th minute off a corner kick.
The Panthers continued to hold their ground when a Bellarmine penalty kick in the 35th minute knotted the contest 1-1.
The second half saw Luther look to push HC back in front as he fired a shot in the 71st minute that was denied by the keeper.
Freshman
Blake Koch got the team's final look in the 88th minute before Schoellig made a clutch save in the final seconds to secure the draw.
Hanover returns to the pitch on Saturday when they welcome Asbury for Senior Day.
