COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Hanover Panthers (4-3 overall) headed north for a non-conference battle at Capital, falling to the Comets 4-1.

Hanover finished with six combined shots, three of which landed on frame. The lone Panther goal came from the foot of senior
Ally Byrd who netted her only attempt at frame.

Emma Gill added the helper playing 24 minutes with one shot.
Capital fired 22 shots with 10 hitting net and four goals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
After finding themselves trailing 1-0 just two minutes into the contest, Byrd responded second later. The senior played a pass from Gill to knot the score 1-1.
The Comets landed one final first half strike pushing the halftime lead to 2-1.
The second half saw Capital extend their lead with a goal in the 76 th minute and one in the 83 rd minute for the 4-1 victory.
