LEXINGTON, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers capture the pivotal 1-0 victory on Sunday afternoon as they defeat Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference foe Transylvania, 1-0.
The Panthers were paced by senior
Autumn Boothby (Mount Orab, Ohio) who netted one goal on two shots. In frame, sophomore
Maggie Hinegardner (Fort Thomas, Ky.) tallied another clean sheet with three saves through 90 minutes of work.
Hanover provided the only dagger in the contest as Boothby took a pass from sophomore
Jostin Reeves (Greenwood, Ind.) in the 30
th minute for the 1-0 victory.
With the win, Hanover pushed their unbeaten streak to 20 straight games.
The Blue and Red return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 13 when they welcome Franklin. Game time is set for 5 PM.
