HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover women's soccer team pushed their unbeaten streak to 19 straight games as they knocked off Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference foe Manchester, 4-0. With the win, Hanover moves to 7-0-2 overall and 3-0-0 HCAC.Â

The Panthers dominated the pitch from the opening kick-off as they were able to provide the first strike just three minutes into the opening frame. Junior
Josie Dattilo (Montgomery, Ohio) provided the goal as she fired a shot from the top of the 16-yard box that soared over the Spartan keeper, 1-0.

The Blue and Red dealt another goal at the 11 minute mark as senior
Autumn Boothby (Mount Orab, Ohio) served up a corner kick into the box that freshman
Nora Ludwig (Cincinnati, Ohio) was able to fire home, 2-0.

Maggie Day (Sellersburg, Ind.) kept her six game goal streak alive as she pushed the difference to 3-0. The senior took a pass in front of frame that she used to beat the keeper at the near post.

Hanover extended the difference in the second half as Day added her second goal of the afternoon and the final blow of the contest off an assist by senior
Bryn Rolfsen (Loveland, Ind.), 4-0.

The Panthers return to action on Sunday, Oct. 10 when they travel to Transylvania. Game time is set for 2:00 PM.
