NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Hanover women's soccer team shot past Manchester on Saturday afternoon defeating the Spartans 4-0.
Hanover used a balanced attack as four different student-athletes found goals in the contest. The Panthers pelted the net with a game-high 23 shots, 10 of which landed on frame.
Junior
Autumn Boothby (Mount Orab, Ohio) provided the first dagger of the afternoon as she beat the Spartan defense at the 38:37 mark for the go-ahead goal, 1-0.
The scoring frenzy continued as freshman
Bri Matis (Liberty Twp., Ohio) made her way into the score's column off a pass by Boothby that pushed the difference to 2-0. The second half outburst continued as junior
Maggie Day (Sellersburg, Ind.) charted her sixth goal of the season at the 72:31 minute mark giving HC the convincing 3-0 advantage.

Molly Johnson (Newburgh, Ind.) as she beat the Manchester keeper securing the 4-0 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory.
The Blue and Red return to action on Wednesday, March 24 when they welcome Rose-Hulman. Game time is slated for 3:30 PM.
