HANOVER, Ind. – The Panthers (7-2-2 overall, 3-0-1 HCAC) continued to dominate the home pitch as they defeated Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent Defiance on Saturday afternoon 7-0.
Leading the attack for the Blue and Red was freshman
Kenna Patterson (Bloomington, Ind.) and sophomore
Beth Cook (Goshen, Ohio) with two goals apiece.

Nora Ludwig (Cincinnati, Ohio) kicked off the scoring frenzy as she played a pass from Cook for the 1-0 strike.
The Panthers continued on the attack when Cook picked up her 17
th goal of the season in the 31
st minute pushing the HC difference to 2-0.
The final first half goal came just moments later as Cook took the assist from junior
Bri Matis (Liberty Twp., Ohio) sending Hanover into the half with the 3-0 advantage.
The offense continued to fire on all cylinders in the second half as Patterson found the back of the net, recording back-to-back blows extending the Panther lead to 5-0.
Junior
Kennedi Roehrig (LaGrange, Ky.) added a goal in the 50
th minute before junior
Aidan Hiester (Seymour, Ind.) netted the game's final strike en route to the dominating 7-0 win.
Hanover returns to action Wednesday, Oct. 12 when they welcome area rival Franklin. Game time is set for 5:00 PM.
