CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2022 Football All-Conference award winners on Thursday afternoon with 10 Panthers earning honors.

Caleb Brewster (Hiram, Ga.), senior
Jacob Doll (New Haven, Ind.), senior
Devonte Hardiman (Princeton, Ind.), and sophomore
Austin Oppel (Brandenburg, Ky.) all earned First Team nods, while teammates senior
Jamey Deckard (Bedford, Ind.), senior
Hunter Eads (Batavia, Ohio), junior
Brody Luker (New Palestine, Ind.), and senior
Matthew Weimer (Georgetown, Ind.) were all recognized as Second Team honorees. Rounding out the awards for Hanover was sophomore Yoann Kinaga (Jeffersonville, Ind.) and junior
Eric Roudebush (New Palestine, Ind.) being named HCAC All-Honorable Mention.
Brewster played a key role in the Panther defense appearing in all 10 games with 64 total tackles, 35 solo stops. He picked up 4.5 tackles for loss with two pass breakups and one forced fumble.
Doll, a member of the offensive line, appeared in 10 games for the Blue and Red. The senior added a tackle and was part of an offense that averaged 34 points per contest.
Hardiman helped pace a powerful Panther defense as he visited the backfield on six different occasions while charting 13 total tackles for loss. He finished the year with 46 total stops, 23 of them solo. The senior added two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
On the offensive side of the ball, Oppel started all 10 contests at running back rushing for 833 total yards. He averaged 83.3 yards per carry with 13 endzone trips.
Eads appeared as the top wide receiver target with 567 total yards through the air and six touchdowns. He averaged 70.8 yards receiving per game.
Deckard appeared in all 10 games with 38 total tackles. The linebacker charted 20 solo stops and 3.5 tackles for loss.
Defensive bac, Luker added 61 total tackles through 10 games with 36 of them being solo attempts. He charted four interceptions and five pass breakups.
Under center, Weimer led the offense with 2,383 total yards passing and 17 passing TD's. He averaged 238.3 yards per game through the air while turning in four rushing touchdowns.
Rounding out the awards for Hanover was the special team's duo of Kinaga and Roudebush. Kinaga finished the season 4-of-7 on field goal attempts including a field goal of 40+ yards. Roudebush handled the punting for Hanover recording 29 total attempts with four charting over 50+ yards and three touchbacks.
