CARMEL, IND. – The Hanover women's lacrosse team swept the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors announced Tuesday afternoon by the league office.
 
Senior Anne Breeding (Miamisburg, Ohio) was named the HCAC Offensive Player of the Week, while teammate senior Delaney Benner (Indianapolis, Ind.) was tabbed the Defensive Athlete of the Week.
 
Breeding led the Panthers past Heidelberg on Sunday afternoon netting a career and game-high seven goals, including four in the first half and three straight goals to close out the second frame. The senior tallied 13 total shots with eight landing on frame.
 
Benner, the senior keeper ,charted eight saves through 60 minutes of work in frame and added seven ground balls.
 
Hanover returns to action on Friday, April 1 when they welcome Southwestern. Game time is set for 4:00 PM.
