MARIETTA, Ohio – The Hanover Panthers hit the road this afternoon taking on no. 1 ranked Marietta in non-conference action. The Panthers fell to the Pioneers 13-0.

Charlie Joyce (Indianapolis, Ind.) got the start on the mound for the Blue and Red falling to 3-3 overall on the year after surrendering nine runs on seven hits.
At the dish, HC was paced by sophomore
Alex Christie (Greenwood, Ind.) going 3-for-4 with a walk.
The Pioneers jumped ahead early using a nine run first inning to blow the game wide open.
Marietta never looked back plating four more runs to capture the 13-0 victory.
HC returns to action on Saturday, May 7 when they conclude regular season play with Franklin. First pitch from K.T. Young Ballpark is set for noon.
