COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Panthers (3-2-0 overall) hit the road on Saturday afternoon defeating Capital in dominating fashion 3-0.
Leading the attack was sophomore
Beth Cook (Goshen, Ohio) with a game-high two goals. Teammate, sophomore
Nora Ludwig (Cincinnati, Ohio) added one goal.
Hanover wasted little time getting on the board as Cook took a pass from junior
Cassidy Lett (Walton, Ky.) in the 10
th minut4e for the early 1-0 advantage.
The assault on net continued as Ludwig made her way into the score's column in the 61
st minute off a pass from junior
Bri Matis (Liberty Twp., Ohio), 2-0.
Cook netted the final goal as her and Ludwig connected in poetic fashion for the final contest goal, 3-0.
Hanover returns to action on Sunday, Oct. 18 at Wittenberg.
