HANOVER, Ind. – The Panthers split on the final day of the Hanover Invitational defeating Westminster 3-1 (25-15, 25-26, 19-25, 25-13) before falling in straight sets to Berea 3-0 (18-25, 18-25, 22-25).
GAME ONE
In the contest with Westminster sophomore Brroke Herrell (Greenfield, Ind.) and junior
Ella Reed (Lexington, Ky.) paced the attack with a team best seven kills apiece.
Sophomore
Maggie Schweitzer (Shelbyville, Ind.) added a team-best 19 assists with junior
Aubrey Walton (Linton, Ind.) dishing out 17 helpers.
GAME TWO
Reed and freshman CC Sick (Fort Thomas, Ky.) led the attack with seven kills, while teammate Walton added 14 assists.
Defensively, junior
Casey Dunn (Fort Thomas, Ky.) picked up 17 digs.
HC returns to action on Friday, Sept. 23 as they travel to Terre Haute, Ind. for the RHIT Invite.
