TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -The Hanover Panthers hit the road taking on non-conference opponents Concordia Chicago and Illinois Institute of Technology, finishing the evening 1-1 overall.
 
GAME ONE
The Panthers toppled Concordia Chicago in straight sets 25-17, 29-27, 25-17.
 
Leading the charge for the Blue and Red was freshman CC Shick (Fort Thomas, Ky.) with a team-best 14 kills on 25 attempts. Shick posted an impressive .480 hitting percentage. Freshman Elliot Mays (Jeffersonville, Ind.) added eight kills while sophomore Molly Schwarzkopf (Greenfield, Ind.) tallied six.
 
Defensively, Mays charted 15 digs while junior Casey Dunn (Fort Thomas, Ky.) picked up 11.  
 
GAME TWO
Hanover dropped the night cap in straight sets 20-25, 22-25, 21-25.
 
Mays, Shick, and Schwarzkopf paced the attack with five kills apiece while teammate freshman Maddie Robertson (Mitchell, Ind.) added four.
 
Dunn led the defense with 12 digs while Mays and senior Meredith Deckard (Bedford, Ind.)  charted double digit helpers.
 
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 24 taking on Oberlin and DePauw.
